I obtained my doctor's diploma in 1993 at the Medical Academy in Warsaw. In the years 1993-1995 I worked at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Cardiac Surgery in Warsaw.
Since 1995 I have been working at the 1st General Surgery Clinic of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków as a senior assistant. I obtained the first degree of specialization in general surgery in 1998, and the second degree in 2003 under the supervision of prof. Tadeusz Popiela. In 2010, I defended my doctoral dissertation in the field of clinical transplantology, performing several hundred kidney transplants by that time. In 2015, I obtained the title of a specialist in the field of plastic surgery. The scope of my activity is plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, general surgery, transplantology, endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract. Currently, I have concentrated on plastic surgery, combining clinical experience in the field of general surgery, transplantology and plastic surgery. I am particularly interested in abdominal wall plasty, hernia plasty, liposuction, lipofilling and surgeries of drooping eyelids and protruding auricles. In my practice, I perform liposuction using Vaser Lipo and lipofilling using the Lipi Vage technique. I have performed several hundred liposuction treatments by introducing the Body Tite technique to the Polish market. I was one of the first in Poland to perform Macrolane treatments. I have gained experience in the field of plastic surgery in Sweden, France and Switzerland. In Poland, I had the opportunity to use the experience and knowledge of Dr. Kasprzyk, Dr. Ibrahim, Dr. Lembas, Dr. Kolasiński, Dr. Szczyt. I am a member of the Society of Polish Surgeons, Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Polish Transplant Society, Polish Hernia Club, International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement, International Transplant Coordinators Society, European Society of Surgery, European Association for Endoscopic Surgery.
